Heather Carawan
Heather Carawan, co-anchor of the public access/documentary media mode, is a filmmaker, photographer and educator. Her half-hour documentary film, The Telling Takes Me Home, about music and activism, will be screening locally in the upcoming 1st Annual Tacoma Film Festival (October 6th-12th) and it will be making its television debut on East Tennessee Public Television in November. Since relocating to Tacoma from the San Francisco Bay Area about one year ago, Heather has been freelancing as an editor and videographer, most recently producing a short piece for TeamChild, a youth advocacy non-profit organization.
